| Looe is an ideal
location not only to enjoy the Town, Harbour, Beaches,
Coastal Walks, but also as a base to explore all
the many attractions of Cornwall a few of which
we have listed below. |
 |
| Fowey is only a 20 minute drive,
steeped in Daphne du Maurier history and its wonderful
natural estuary and harbour. Mining history can
be explored on Bodmin Moor which is only 35 minutes
drive away, where many of the old mine workings
and remains of the Cornish Engine Houses can still
be seen. |
 |
| Whilst exploring this area you can
also walk through the woods to Golitha Falls, or
drive through beautiful countryside to Colliford
Reservoir and on to Dozemary Pool of Excalibur fame. |

NATIONAL
MARINE AQUARIUM, PLYMOUTH

 |
NATIONAL
MARITIME MUSEUM CORNWALL

 |
 |
 |
| The much
publicised Eden Project has
been described as the eighth
wonder of the world and is now
an international visitor attraction.
The best time to visit is either
first thing at 10am when it
opens (9.30am in the Summer) or
after 2pm. The quietest days
tend to be towards the end of
the week so that is worth remembering
too! |
